The Sound Ocean Systems, Inc. Series DSW-1830 Diesel Storage Winches are self-contained, diesel-electric winches designed for cable storage. DSW's quality, open-frame steel construction and proven components provide reliable operation while their 3-coat powder finish ensures long life even in the harshest marine environments.

The DSW's are ruggedly designed for shipboard use and easy to install on your vessel, or vessels of opportunity. Their simple, low-maintenance design and proven components insure dependable operation.

Diesel Storage Winches can be acquired in a variety of drum widths with standard and optional features as listed below. Options include a slip ring, remote control, manual override on levelwind, line speed, payout and tension display, Lebus grooved drum shell, hydraulic reservoir heater, hydraulic air / oil cooler and the option to have the cable spooled and terminated to match your instruments.
