Small Instrumentation ECO Sampling Winch

The Sound Ocean Systems, Inc. ECO Winch has an open architecture design resulting in a compact and lightweight winch—providing maximum portability.

Designed to meet the requirements of major CTD manufacturers, this winch will pull 200 lb. (91 kg) line tension at speeds up to 100 fpm (.5 m/sec). The ECO Winch holds 3000 ft. (930 m) of cable and boasts standard features including levelwind, a 1 hp continuous duty 110 VAC motor, a remote control pendant, speed and payout display and aluminum construction.

The ECO Winch has a 3-coat powder finish ensuring long-life in the harshest marine environments. It is ruggedly built for shipboard use and is easy to install on your own vessel, or vessels of opportunity.

ECO Winches can be acquired with a variety of optional features. Options include a slip ring, davit and the option to have the cable spooled and terminated to match your instruments.
