Small Instrumentation ECO Sampling Winch

The Sound Ocean Systems, Inc. ECO Winch 265 has an open architecture design resulting in a compact and lightweight winch—providing maximum portability.

Designed to meet the requirements of major CTD manufacturers, this winch will pull 265 lb. (120 kg) line tension at speeds up to 150 fpm (.76 m/sec). The ECO Winch holds 3600 ft. (1000 m) of cable and boasts standard features including levelwind, 2 hp continuous duty 230 VAC motor, remote control pendant and aluminum construction.

The ECO Winch 265 has a 3-coat powder finish ensuring long-life in the harshest marine environments. It is ruggedly built for shipboard use and is easy to install on your own vessel, or vessels of opportunity.

ECO Winches can be acquired with a variety of optional features. Options include a slip ring, davit and the option to have the cable spooled and terminated to match your instruments.
