Submersible GPS-Iridium Antenna
Model SubGPS/I-1300M
The SOSI SubGPS/I combination submersible antenna is designed for use as an OEM antenna with customer furnished GPS receivers and Iridium satellite transceivers. The antenna is perfectly suited for subsurface buoys, towed bodies and AUVs that operate at depth, but periodically surface to determine position, reset navigation, download data, send and receive mission updates or call home with position for recovery.
The antenna is built to withstand subsea use, fully encapsulated, neutral in buoyancy, hydro-dynamically shaped and pressure tested beyond its rating. The antenna's 2-way Iridium communication allows data transfer and remote control and command for your vehicle while simultaneously providing GPS positioning on any ocean surface.
