 The
SOSI Model LCTM-4000 Linear Cable Traction Machine has been designed for
cable deployment and recovery operations where cables of various or
changing diameters are anticipated, or where repeaters or other
discontinuities exist in the cable. They are ruggedly designed for
terrestrial or shipboard use and are easy to install on a variety of
carriers or vessels of opportunity. Their quality steel
construction and epoxy finish provide long life even in the harshest
marine environments. Their simple design and proven components
assure reliable operation that you can depend upon. They are
typically provided with a separate electro-hydraulic power unit which is
sized to meet the particular line speed and line pull requirements of
the customer. The LCTM itself can be provided in either a vertical
or horizontal configuration. It can also be provided with an
integral HPU contained within the base frame. Standard and
