Deck Winch

Model DW-15013-40S

The Sound Ocean Systems, Inc. Model DW 15013-40S, Deck Winches are designed for large towed body shallow deployment and for other similar marine operations. The system has a large diameter and narrow drum design so that it does not require a levelwind for most applications. The DW is ruggedly designed for ship-board use of quality steel and comes with an epoxy finishes for long life in marine environments. The Model DW-15013-40S Deck Winch is supplied with a separate hydraulic power unit.

The Deck Winch is ruggedly designed for shipboard use and easy to install on your vessel, or vessels of opportunity. The DW's quality steel construction and epoxy finish provides long life even in the harshest marine environments while its simple, low-maintenance design and proven components insure dependable operation.

The Deck Winch can be acquired in a variety of drum widths with standard and optional features as listed below. Options include a manual band brake, slip ring assembly, levelwind, cable speed, scope and load display, stainless quick disconnect fittings, integral fork lift pockets specifications and the option to have the cable spooled and terminated to match your instruments.
