The SOSI Model ODP-276-100-001 Oceanographic Data Platform (ODP) is a multi-sensor seafloor device designed to provide long-term sea water temperature and conductivity measurements. The ODP additionally profiles the overlaying water column and directional wave spectra. Our specialized design incorporates a removable instrument plate that is used to secure the sensors and external battery packs on a concrete anchor base. This unique and proven design allows the instrument plate to be removed while leaving the anchor base on the seafloor—in turn allowing long-term, multi-year deployments in exactly the same location with out drift. These stable and secure seafloor platforms are supplied complete with an anchor base, removable instrument plate, sensors with our Trident data logger, external battery pack and all other required components for operation.
