Additionally, by focusing on small and medium sized ports, SOSI has
learned to provide solutions which are optimized for usability and
economy. SOSI products support a wide range of port security
applications worldwide. SOSI products include:
SOSI Integrated Tracker
SOSI’s integrated sensor management and target tracking software
provides port security forces with the ability to fuse the outputs of a
wide variety of sensors into a single information picture. The user
interface offers a geo-referenced, easily read display and many layers
of information management. The tracking/prosecution functions include
track fusion, response coordination, automated alerts, and full
communication with designated command authority. In its standard
configuration the system can be easily interfaced with a wide variety of
commonly employed sensors including sonar, radar, and video systems.
Additionally SOSI can program interfaces for virtually any sensor that a
customer requires, providing that the communication protocols are
supplied.
SOSIs Integrated Port
Management Suite
Along with target tracking and response coordination, SOSI offers
optional compliance and data management modules which expand the utility
of the basic application and simplify the administrative effort
associated with the modern port security problem.
SOSI Video Surveillance
Suite
SOSI offers a variety of perimeter and interior surveillance solutions,
which provide enhanced security against intruders, aid to law
enforcement, and ensure compliance with regulations. Decades of ocean
engineering experience ensure high reliability and sustainability of the
equipment in a port environment. SOSI’s proprietary suite of motion
detection, camera management, and video database tools are as capable as
any available worldwide, but much more easily tailored to the small and
medium sized port environment. Features that support the small and
medium sized port environment include flexible power and transmission
options, dual use surveillance features, system scalability, and
adaptability to local infrastructure requirements. Configurations range
from portable single point systems to widely distributed multi-camera
suites. All circuitry and communication methods used are SOSI products
as well. These tools are currently in use in a variety of military and
commercial installations.

For covert waterside security applications it is often very difficult to
identify installation options, which provide adequate sensor performance
without betraying the presence of the sensor. SOSI has solved this
problem quite successfully in real world installations, and offers a
series of proven products based on this experience. In addition to those
shown below, SOSI has the sensor knowledge and material expertise to
engineer and fabricate specific solutions for any sonar, radar, or EO
sensor installation requiring covert installation.

Operational Aids
SOSI’s experience with port security response forces has engendered a
series of solutions based on the stated unmet operational needs of the
people on the front lines. The newest product in this family is the SOSI
diver held GPS unit, which helps to ensure safe and timely
investigations of underwater intrusion and contraband incidents.
