ound Ocean Systems, Inc. announces the introduction of their new Cable and Umbilical Hand Reels in three sizes including Models UHR-10x15x14, UHR-16x24x24, and UHR-20x28x32. These designations refer to the drum barrel diameter, the full drum flange diameter, and the distance between the flanges respectively. Note that all three sizes can be acquired with optional drum widths to suit almost any appropriate application.

These reels are constructed of environmentally stabilized HDPE to resist harsh sun and sea conditions. Multi-color materials that can be color-coordinated with your existing products or company colors are also offered. They are slip ring compatible and their open design allows easy access inside the drum when installing the slip ring and cable. They are relatively lightweight and because of their integral hand and strap holds are portable and easily moved. Standard units are hand-operated but can generally be provided with optional electrical drives.
